As the Registered Dietitian at Ignite 155, Shawn is dedicated to helping you create sustainable and healthy habits that nurture the body and soul. Shawn recognizes that nutrition is more than just what you put into your body and has as much to do with how food makes you feel physically, mentally, and emotionally. Shawn believes that eating is not something you should feel guilty about and hopes to help you find a way of eating that promotes wellness in all aspects.
Shawn received her BS in dietetics and exercises from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and her MS in nutrition and completed her dietetic internship at Boston University. Shawn recently completed her 200-yoga teacher training with Lotus House of Yoga in Lincoln, Nebraska. She is also an ACE-certified group fitness instructor and certified Spinning® instructor. When not working with clients, Shawn enjoys cooking with my husband, exploring local cuisine, being a fair-weather runner, and traveling.
