Rachel originally came to the mat to supplement running, in the midst of a scary move across the country. She gained so much more than expected: a strong community, impactful philosophy, and the tools to deal with stress and anxiety in a healthy way. Yoga helps her to feel more calm, stable, and ready to roll with the punches. Rachel is originally from Texas, but completed her 200-hour Vinyasa teaching certification in sunny Spain in 2018 and is thrilled to be settled in Chicago now. Her classes are breath-centered and fun, building strength and heat in a flow that is friendly to all levels. Rachel aims to empower her students to move at their own pace and to listen to their bodies, to slow down and create space for curiosity and growth.
