For Maggie, yoga is about being fully present and finding a deeper connection with herself. She keeps coming back to her mat to unplug from distractions, breathe and move her body. She enjoys an intensely physical practice rooted in flow.
Her teaching style engages students with upbeat music, clear cues, intentional breathing and fluid sequencing. Her goal is for her students to leave feeling better post-practice, challenged yet motivated and more connected to their true self. One of her favorite aspects of class is building an awesome playlist that motivates students through challenging postures.
In 2016, Maggie quit her desk job to re-route her life bringing yoga to the forefront. She received her RYT-200 hour training from CorePower Yoga and continued her studies there completing an additional 50 hour power yoga program as well as a yoga sculpt certification. She lives in Chicago with her husband and puppy and enjoys spicy food and traveling.
