What motivated you to become a trainer?
My background in athletics has been the biggest motivator to become a trainer. I have always been interested in the science of athletic performance and I am very passionate about health, fitness, and helping others. My love for making my body as healthy and functional as possible, translated for love in helping other people achieve the same goals.
How would you describe your training personality?
I genuinely care about people and want to inspire them to fall in love with working out. My goal is to instill a desire, confidence and determination that enables my clients to stick with their training and achieve results. I would consider my training personality as a friendly and inspirational.
What advice do you have for people that are just getting into fitness?
Nothing beats hard work! Be prepared to work hard physically and also spend time on training your mindset. It does get easier!
What’s your favorite workout and why?
Running outside. I am not a distance runner, but I like to do high speed interval runs or hill sprints in a forest preserve or a park. Spending time in nature has great meditative effects on my body.
What do you like to do for fun?
Workout, spend time with my boyfriend, and travel.
