Marilyn’s passion for fitness began after having her children.Marilyn believes that exercise, nutrition, and mental health all work together for the success of the individual and all need to be considered for overall health improvement. What motivated you to become a trainer?
I fell in love with fitness after turning 35yrs old and was motivated by my friend to become a trainer. Best decision ever. I love to spread the word of what fitness can do for you.
How would you describe your training personality?
I want to say my training personality is more Demonstrating the movements. I love to get my clients to work with me through the exercises. Keeping a smile during the exercise makes it easier to finish. 🙂
What advice do you have for people that are just getting into fitness?
I always tell my friends or potential clients that getting into a fitness regimen is not easy but doable. Starting with a level that is comfortable and work from there.
What’s your favorite workout and why?
My favorite workouts are high intensity. Getting my heart rate up and producting power is such a thrill for me. Pushing my body to the limit is refreshing.
What do you like to do for fun?
I love to hang out with my kids. Doing an art class together and bonding as a family makes my heart feel full.
