Rachel’s yoga practice is about the balance of strength and flexibility, both in body and mind. She uses a physical asana practice on the mat to better inform her practice off the mat of living mindfully and joyfully. Since first practicing in 2005, Yoga quickly became a part of Rachel’s daily life even as she faced an array of injuries, illnesses, and pregnancies. She immediately was astonished by how helpful her yoga practice was through the accepting, healing and strengthening of her mind and body regardless of what life threw her way. She is passionate about sharing the many benefits of yoga with all people and conditions, and is insistent that there is a yoga practice for every body. Rachel’s practices are influenced by her studies in Iyengar, Anusara, and Vinyasa Flow Yoga.
