Kathleen is a recent transplant to Chicago whose journey into yoga first began in 2014. However, it wasn’t until 1 year later that she really fell in love with the practice and began to think about how she could incorporate yoga into her commitment to health and wellness as a pre-med student. After graduating with a B.S. in Human Science from Georgetown University in 2016, Kathleen obtained her RYT-200 certification in Power Vinyasa yoga back home in Los Angeles through CorePower Yoga. Since becoming a yoga instructor, she has continued to express her passion for helping others attain and maintain a healthy lifestyle by working as a private yoga instructor, as well as by volunteering her yoga instructor services at free health clinics in Chicago. When she’s not doing yoga, you can catch Kathleen playing/ watching basketball, exploring the Chicago food scene, or studying (she is trying to become a doctor after all!).
